- Bezugselektrode: Normal-Wasserstoffelektrode,
- Temperatur: 25 °C bzw. 298,15 K,
- effektive Konzentration c = 1 mol l-1 bzw. Ionenaktivität = 1,
- für gasförmige Reaktionen gilt ein Partialdruck von 101,325 kPa (1 atm, 1,01325 bar),
- Nox = Oxidationsstufe.
